What is the minimum order quantity for screen printing?

Minimum quantities can vary depending on the project, garment type, and number of print colors. In most cases, our standard minimum for screen printing starts at 12 pieces.

For smaller quantities, we may recommend alternative decoration methods such as heat transfers or digital printing.


How long does the printing process take?

Typical production time is approximately 7–14 business days after artwork approval and order confirmation.

Turnaround time may vary depending on:

  • Order size
  • Garment availability
  • Complexity of artwork
  • Seasonal demand

Quick turnaround services may be available for select orders. A rush order fee may apply.


Can I see a sample of my design before printing?

Yes. We provide a digital proof or mockup for approval before production begins. This allows you to review:

  • Sizing
  • Garment selection

Production does not begin until final approval is received.


What file formats do you accept for artwork?

We accept most common artwork formats including:

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)

  • JPG

Vector artwork is preferred for the highest print quality. If your artwork needs adjustments, our design team can help prepare it for production.


Do you offer custom design services?

What are your pricing options for bulk orders?

We offer volume pricing discounts on larger orders. Pricing is typically based on:

The larger the order quantity, the lower the cost per piece in most cases. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your project.


How do I care for my printed garments?

To help preserve the quality of your printed apparel:

  • Wash garments inside out
  • Use cold water
  • Avoid bleach
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Do not iron directly on printed areas
  • Please refer to instructions on garment label

Following these care instructions will help maximize the life of the print and garment. Because we offer a large variety of styles and materials, please refer to care instruction label on garment.


What is your return or refund policy?

Because most items are custom made, all sales are generally final once production has begun.

However, if there is an issue related to:

  • Printing defects
  • Incorrect sizing fulfillment
  • Production errors

please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and we will work with you to resolve the issue.


Do you provide shipping services, and what are the costs?

Yes. We offer shipping throughout Hawaii and the mainland United States.

Shipping costs vary depending on:

  • Package size and weight
  • Delivery location
  • Shipping speed requested

Local pickup options may also be available.


Can I change my order after it has been placed?

Changes may be possible if production has not yet started. Once artwork is approved and production begins, modifications may not be available or may incur additional charges.

Please contact us as soon as possible if changes are needed.

For larger orders, deposits may be required before production begins.


Am I able to bring in my own garments to be embellished?

At Creative Arts Hawaii, we treat your items with the utmost care. Because decoration processes involve high heat and pressure, there is always a small risk of damage. Since we cannot replace rare or sentimental customer-provided items, we only decorate apparel and goods supplied directly by our shop. Please contact our team today, as we can provide a large range of suitable product alternatives that we can safely customize for you.
